The acquisition of a language to a level of function for literacy, speech, comprehension and writing takes time. The Language of Instruction changes to English from Grade 4, leaving thousands of learners behind. This programme introduces 4 English sentences, 36 words and sounds of 21 letters in the alphabet to non-English speaking learners over a 12 week period. The core philosophy is similar to the other BrainBoosters programmes and children become familiar with the processes. This programme achieves an "I can" confidence with the learners and reading becomes less of a challenge.
