Youth go through a progressive advancement system using the outdoors. Everything is done through "learning by doing" based on a shared value system. Older youth (14-17 years old) will show the younger youth (11-14 years) how to do things. Topics covered: Leadership, teamwork, discipline, first aid, HIV/Aids prevention, environmental education, climate change, Food gardening, entrepreneurial skills, cooking, nutrition. The young people meet on a weekly basis for 2 hours and then they also go on camps, hikes etc over weekends and holidays.
