The Teacher Intern Programmes are, at present, only operating in Cape Town and focus on the community from which most of the Employees in Cape Town come from. The programmes endeavour to produce teachers in all three phases of South African School Education that are capable and competent in teaching Mathematics or Accounting. We recognise the shortage, not only of mathematics and accounting teachers in general, but particularly black maths and accounting teachers. These programmes aim to address this shortage and to create a base of much needed black role models who can challenge the false belief that the inability to succeed with numbers is hereditary. The Teacher Intern Programme is broken up into 4 parts: Academic Studies, School Observation, Teaching Methodology and Life Coaching
