Programme Description
In a 90-minute workshop, facilitators and participating girls work together to create an environment where the girls go on a journey to find the shape and form of their own hum – the state in which they are self-aware and self-confident enough in their own voices to be unafraid to do. Rather than learning to observe and bravely absorb all the challenges they will surely be faced with as girl children, girls are equipped and supported to act on the world from a place of true self-expression. The workshop takes the format of drama therapy exercises, group activities, discussion and individual activity worksheets all engaged with in a safe, warm environment.
