The Shakespeare Grounded workshops, were developed with the objective of contextualizing the learning enviroment under which most young Africans learn with the works of William Shakespeare. His works are already a part of the high school curriculum in South Africa and the workshop aims to provide students with experiential engagement with the works of Shakespeare. The aim of the workshops are to make Shakespeare accessible to kids who have never been exposed to his work and are not english first language speakers.
