Edu-Pro offers its community-based mentoring programme, consisting of selected community-members in good standing, to work together with parents and teachers to ensure that learners do not drop out of school due to circumstances beyond their control, that they meet their academic obligations throughout the year. The programme is designed as a community-based intervention strategy to primary and high schools, its parents and teachers, with the main aim of supporting learners who have consistently under-performed due to circumstances beyond the control of the school and its teachers. Our long-term aim is to rally the school-community behind each learner who attends an Edu-Pro focus school, to ensure the highest retention rate, and the highest quality pass rate for the school – year after year.
