Range of Rotary projects : > ECD > WSD - Whole school Development in 0-6 ECD sector by creating Communities of quality ECD excellence by working in partnership with communities & govt to help develop a community vision of access to quality ECD for all 0-6 children in the community, providing accredited training for teachers , quality equipment and infrastructure upgrade to health and safety and registration standards > maximizing the professional knowledge of volunteer Rotarians who project management projects together with community leaders,ECD forums , ECD centre principals and govt depts > assisting with infrastructure upgrades to ECD centres to enable them to get govt registration and thus be sustainable > Working in partnership with local CSI business funders to raise sufficient local funding to build some new ECD centres annually > Working towards creating replicable Community WSD ECD models that can be replicated in other poor areas > Capacity building the community by providing ECD forum training > Entrepreneurship- working in partnership with Teen Entrepreneurship & WCDBE Provincial Entrepreneurship curriculum committtee > Library development - provide books and library assistant training > Student programmes; Interact ( HS) Early Act ( PS ) -RYLA,Adventure into Citizenship - leadership development training >Environmental sustainability awareness & student involvement in relevant environmental programmes
